We had an extremely successful day today, but only one very poor photo remembered on the way home! (it’s hard to see, but a keen eye will note the sleepers in packs of 4 sitting on the track – lucky there’s no trains running!).
We’ve pulled screws and spikes to Boundary Trk Xing as well dropped out around 340 sleepers on the rail near to their eventual homes.
We’ll be back here Tuesday, placing them all track-side, ready for a lift and tamp on Wednesday as well as the start of the replacements.
