Now that we’ve completed the 1 in 3 concretes, were going back through and replacing any failed intermediate timber sleepers, mainly focusing on joints.
We installed around 60 concretes today, staring from Muckleford and headed about 2kms, still lots to go but with the smaller gangs and addition of masks things do happen a bit slower.
We have also replaced a large number of the failed 60lb bolts in the same length, greatly slowing progress.
Due to the forecast of heavy rain tomorrow, we’ve decided to cancelled the day. But we’ll be back into it next week.
