Castlemaine

After today, we’re even closer to having the concrete poured around the loco pit inside Castlemaine Loco Shed.

The previously removed sleepers were reinstalled, and ballast was added. Tomorrow’s crew will, among other tasks, tamp this and prepare the area for boxing up, which is due to start on Wednesday morning.

Tomorrow’s crew will start at Maldon at 8am, we won’t be heading down to Castlemaine until a little bit later, but should be there by 10am.
